Congratulations to Adam, Oliver and Alex, all of whom were semi-finalists in the Crawley District Conker Competition on 8th October 2022 with Adam being runner-up following an intense and well-fought final.

We were blessed with a beautiful morning for the competition which a welcome return to the district calendar of events post-pandemic. Despite the many demands on time and the wide range of activities which our young people enjoy beyond Scouting, the event was well attended, but we’d like to do even better next year!

Thank you to all the leaders and supporters who gave their time finding conkers, refereeing matches and providing refreshments. Without you, none of this would have been possible.

All the Cubs were extremely well behaved, sporting and, above all, had lots of fun. What a great morning!
