Our congratulations to Diana Thomson and Ian Lynn who were both awarded their Silver Acorn for Scouting yesterday. The Silver Acorn is only awarded “after at least 20 years’ service, which should be specially distinguished and appreciably better than outstanding”. Both have given many years’ service to Scouting and “always do their best” and so much more, so it’s fantastic to see those achievements recognised. Well done both of you and so well deserved!
